Abstract

|
It turns to the era of CAD/CAM in dentistry influenced by the innovation of IT technology. Dental CAD/CAM system is a futuristic treatment and technical system which makes it possible to produce the precision and uniform prosthesis and also standardize the treatments. There has been a lot of ceramic materials manufactured, according to the large increase of the gold price and the needs of patients about esthetics. Among the materials, zirconia is esthetic, biocompatible and hard enough to be used for posterior teeth, Crown and bridges, and implant prosthesis. CAD/CAM system is very useful for the zirconia prosthesis. In this study, We introduce the case of prosthodontic case using Zirkonzhan CAD/CAM system in ce CAD/CAM center of Chosun University Dental Hospital.
